Pacifism: Violence is not always the answer. There are often ways to get out of risky and dangerous situations that do not require shedding blood, though this does not mandate us to expend our own lives in pursuit of such methods. Raising a sword or channelling a harmful spell should be a last resort, but it is still an option at our disposal.

Respect for Nature: The harmony of nature is important to the world's well being, as well as our own. We only take what we need, we bring back what we can to the nature around us, and we seek to avoid contributing to any imbalances or violence against nature and the natural world.

Sexual Liberty: Spoken and our societies are complex, and sometimes detrimental to our own well-being. Many of our societies have instilled rules and taboos on what should be a natural aspect of our lives. Sex between consenting adults is a welcomed thing in this company, so long as consent is maintained and others are not hurt.

Compassion and Empathy: People come from all walks of life, from the rich to the poor, from the doctor to the soldier. All of our lives are complex, filled with tragedies and wonders that often go unseen or unfelt. We encourage an open mind and an open heart to your fellow Spoken.

Help & Aid: Natsumi operates a charity and minor shrine in Kugane, with a goal of helping those in need — both in Kugane and abroad. Sometimes such operations will require more than just herself or her shrine maidens to complete.

Yōkai Relocation/Exorcism: Sometimes, yōkai may be found wandering the lands, especially where they do not belong. When these trickster, or sometimes more malevolent, spirits target people or communities, the effects can range from near-harmless pranks to serious danger. Everbloom Ventures will sometimes seek out such wayward spirits to relocate, calm, or, if necessary, exorcise them.

Artifact Hunting: There are many powerful, dangerous, or helpful artifacts and relics out in the world. While Everbloom Ventures is not a museum, there are many institutions and museums who can benefit from others doing the dirty work of dealing with containing a dangerous item. If stories of such things reach us, especially artifacts without a claim laid on them by others, we may go out to learn about or acquire them.

Personal Growth: Natsumi has decided to dedicate much of her life to helping people, wherever and however she can. Even those who are here to provide help and aid to others may sometimes need help themselves, and we will provide what we can. ((Natsumi is happy to help with DMing or organizing events for members' personal stories, with appropriate discussion and planning ahead of time.))

Have Fun: This isn't optional. If you're not having fun, you're at risk of being targeted for enforced fun times. Good luck, you'll need it.

Keep Things Tidy: Clean up after yourselves, for gods' sake. Use the support from Pizzabot and the familiars, they'll do most of the work. And if you cum on the furniture, you'd better have someone arranged to lick it up.

Consent: You can't say yes if you're blackout-drunk, so make sure everyone consents to what's going on. If you don't get consent, you'll regret it (see next rule).

No Violence: If you try to start something (not getting consent counts as 'something'), you're consenting to having an ice pick speared through your weapon hand into the countertop for the rest of the night. Cross your fingers it wasn't dipped in salt first.

Keep Your Clothes Mostly On: If you're going to take stuff off, try to at least show off your outfit for a little while. And keep your clothes on at least until the tavernkeep has her tits out.

Be Quiet While Having Sex: If you're going to start banging in the tavern, keep it down. Not everyone wants to hear that — though if you've checked and everyone does want to hear it, then moan louder please.
